⚠️ Important: DO NOT eat, drink, smoke, chew gum, brush your teeth, or use mouth wash for at least 30 minutes prior to sample collection, else you risk contaminating your sample.

1. Take a photo of your serial key. You'll need it to register your kit and access your results.

2. Register your kit by clicking the ‘Go to kit registration’ button and create a GeneStory account. After logging in, register your kit by entering the 12-letter serial key printed on the saliva collection tube.

3. Carefully open the tube and do not touch the swab head.

4. Swab both sides of the cheeks in your mouth 15-20 times.

5. Break the swab into the collection tube containing preservation buffer.

6. Screw the lid onto the tube and gently shake 10 times.

7. Seal the collection tube and place it in the zipper bag. Then put the bag back into the inner box. Finally, insert the inner box into the pre-labeled return shipping bag and seal it.
